Description
Section titled “Description”Recent Locations can create a history of places your iPhone thinks are important to you. Apple says this data is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by Apple, but it can still exist on your device and sync across your other devices.
That kind of location history can reveal patterns about where you live, work, travel, shop, and spend time. Turning it off helps prevent your iPhone from keeping a built-in record of your routines and frequently visited places.
