Description
Section titled βDescriptionβSaving to iCloud can store a copy of important data from your iPhone in iCloud. That can help restore a lost or broken phone, but it also means app data, settings, messages, photos, and other sensitive information may be copied off the device.
Review what is included in iCloud Backup. Turn off backup for apps that hold sensitive information you do not want stored in iCloud, especially apps related to health, finance, private notes, legal documents, work, travel, or personal safety.
Backups are useful, but they are also copies of your private life. Do not back up sensitive app data by default.
